Hello DOLPHINS!
At last I'm here, checking you out! Mr. Runyan with the boys on the escalator was awesome! We miss you all, but I think there is more room in the elective hallways during 6th grade passing periods :-) I'm leaving you to go check out the rest of your trip now. KEEP having fun!! You are SO lucky!

Dear Carrie & Kepner DC students,
Hoping you arrived safely to Washington, D.C
I just read your intinerary..WOW!! can't wait to read your impressions and experiences at the many historical sites you will visit. Your DC visit and follow up studies with Mrs. Olson will serve you well as you become our future leaders.
Please take care.

What an exciting trip this must be for you every year. I imagine it must be highly satisfying (and probably highly stressful in equal measures) to expose the kids to such a dynamic experience, knowing that it's something that they'll remember for the rest of their lives and that, like all travel, will, either papably or subtly, influence their attitudes and opinions through adulthood. It must be most rewarding for you especially if it is their first visit to Europe. I'm sure it opens up an appreciation of alternatives and options that they might otherwise not have considered (which I guess is rather the point of education in the first place).

I'm pleased Inch is looking after you at Les Miz. She has been running our in-theatre merchandise sales for 30 years (!) - she managed 'Cats' from beginning to end of its 21 year run - and is well known and much loved as a character in the West End. Unfortunately, Inch doesn't have an email address at the moment, so I've printed out the shots and have sent them to her at the theatre.

Till next year

Best regards
John Tyler

Carrie,

It's been sooooooooooo fun following the KEEP European journey. We grin from ear to ear every time we see the pictures, read the updates and listen to the phone messages. Hats off to you, Jackie, Jack the students, their families and their friends for making it happen. Can't wait to hear all about it when you return.

Safe travels home,

Dear Ms.Olson i am Guadalupe Avitia and i wanted to tell you i was really amazed by Eric Cahn. I am one of those persons who dont cry very easyly, but when i was lising to him and how he said his dad went to the right and his mom went to the left that made me feel really touched. I also imagend if i was there and my parents decided to give me away to another family i would not want that but i know it would be the right choise, because if his parents would of not given him away he would not be her right now, i imagend being hidden in a basment for not just moths years! with no one to talk to and berly any food to eat. Also the way he said "i was there" was a real hard thing to say thats when i broke down and just could not handel keeping my tears, i think it was really hard for him and harder for his sister that she cant even talk about it. Well i hope he will keep talking to kids about how it used to be. So people can appreciate what they have right now and be glad that war was over.
